Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator
Job Description
Looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator with the ability to proficiently operate a variety of construction machinery including but not limited to excavator, bulldozer, motor grader, front end loader, rubber tire backhoe, mini-excavator, skid steer, off road truck, and roller. Additionally, the operator should have a solid understanding of GPS equipment including machine control & GPS rover, and be able to operate equipment efficiently to meet or exceed bid production. The role also involves equipment management responsibilities such as performing preventive equipment maintenance, maintaining equipment cleanliness, conducting daily equipment inspections, securing equipment each day, maximizing equipment utilization, and promptly reporting equipment problems to the project foreman or superintendent.

Work Environment
The work environment involves working outside on civil development sites. The candidate must be prepared to deal with all weather conditions and perform their tasks in a safe and efficient manner. The summer is hot, and the winter can be wet and cold at times.
