Aston Carter Hybrid Accountant in North Kingstown, Rhode Island
Job Description
We are seeking an Accountant to join our dynamic Finance Team. This position plays a critical role in supporting Finance management by contributing to and maintaining a best-in-class finance organization that services the rest of the Company and external parties with high quality. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for executing daily operations of the department, including treasury operations, preparing and reconciling financial results, and interacting with auditors. You will also be expected to respond to third-party requests and questions, share knowledge with peers and other team members, and participate in corporate and Finance Team projects.
Hard Skills
5 years of accounting experience
Experience with Great Plains or similar G/L packages
Experience with executing financial close procedures
Treasury operations
Financial analysis
Project team experience
Knowledge of Finance processes and controls
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products with emphasis on Excel, Word
Experience with administrative systems
Soft Skills
Ability to identify system-related issues
Ability to identify weaknesses and recommend solutions
Ability to work on multiple projects
Ability to work collaboratively with inter-departmental teams
Ability to maintain professional and technical knowledge
Ability to deliver high quality service to internal and external stakeholders
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in North Kingstown, Rhode Island and some days remote.
Work Environment
This role offers a hybrid working model. The initial two weeks will be in-office, followed by flexible work arrangements. Standard working hours are from 9am to 5pm.
