Newell Brands Senior Analyst, Treasury in Norwalk, Connecticut
The Connecticut base pay range for this position is from $88,300- $107,900. Salary will be based on prior experience related to the skills required for this position.

The role of Senior Treasury Analyst will reside within the Global Treasury team. This position reports to the Senior Treasury Manager and works collaboratively with all treasury areas and with various business stakeholders, such as accounting, tax and GBS to ensure the successful delivery of results. This is a high visibility and high impact role.
Role:
Report and monitor daily cash and liquidity; manage short-term liquidity forecasting for entities within LATAM and across multiple currencies; consolidate and review entity forecasting submissions and work with entities and business units to improve accuracy and accountability.
Perform full cycle cash management including administering TMS/bank systems and reporting transactions.
Support on the execution of critical treasury payment obligations including settlements of derivatives, dividend payments, interest payments, intercompany loan payments, etc.
Reporting, explaining, and improving actuals vs forecasted metrics.
Manage and develop long- and short-term cash forecasts.
Support global cash management activities including cash positioning and processing cash movements in line with the company’s Treasury policies.
Liaise with banking partners on behalf of business units on Treasury and banking matters including issue resolution support.
Lead banking and cash management support for portfolio of LATAM entities, acting as escalation point for local team enquiries relating to payments, cash management and bank account issues.
Support group on large global and regional initiatives including SAP S/4HANA implementation and Bank Account migrations.
Develop and maintain periodic reporting for cash, bank account and other regional LATAM treasury activity.
Qualifications / Skills:
2+ years of work experience in Finance required, preferably within a multinational organization.
Strong knowledge of cash management and forecasting techniques
Experience utilizing electronic banking systems and/ or SAP S/4HANA.
Maintain strong relationships with internal and external business units.
Good at problem solving, collaborative and with sound analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong MS Office skills with knowledge of SAP considered beneficial.
Primary Degree and/or master’s degree in Banking, Finance or Accounting
Proficient in Spanish
