CREATION TECHNOLOGIES Continuous Improvement Manager in OAK CREEK, Wisconsin

The Continuous Improvement Manager will drive significant improvements to all areas of our value stream, from receipt of order through planning, supply chain (internal & external), manufacturing, and distribution. This position will collaboratively lead continuous improvement efforts with existing functions, leading analysis and implementing changes that impact issues affecting the BU\'s ability to supply high-quality products to our customers. Upon establishing a solid foundation, a more structured continuous improvement strategy will be implemented through facilitation and coordination of initiatives for the BU, aligning the Continuous improvement philosophy into day-to-day operational excellence. Utilizing projects and kaizen events, as part of the agreed Continuous Improvement (CI) Roadmap, this role will be critical in driving changes and getting results that align with company goals and strategy. DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to: Support the Senior Leadership Team in driving and developing a lean manufacturing culture by using Kaizan tools, including SMED, Standard Work and Value Stream Mapping Work with the leadership team to identify a clear CI Roadmap linked to our strategic development plans and facilitate kaizen events to ensure improvements are followed through, presented, and reported Proactively lead and contribute to cost reduction and improvement initiatives Actively support the culture change towards continuous improvement by training, developing, implementing and maintaining improvement processes using operational excellence tools Promote and lead the continuous improvement lean and problem-solving philosophy, by driving improvements to our processes throughout the organization Support the development of new products and manufacturing processes Lead and facilitate kaizen events, delivering breakthrough and sustainable results Mentor teams during early stages of lean implementation to ensure forward momentum is maintained Emphasize and set up use of visual management on the shop floor to drive everyday problem solving and to ensure attainment of financial commitments Develop and deliver training material, coaching, and mentoring related to Lean & Six Sigma principles, and data-driven decision-making While working within a specific Business Unit, also participate as a member of the Global Continuous Improvement team ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment (3-5 years) Technical and operational continuous improvement leadership (5+ years) Lead / Facilitated multiple kaizen events, delivering breakthrough and sustainable results Ability to analyze data Must have strong verbal and written communication skills Negotiation and conflict resolution during project and kaizen execution are required Demonstrated experience in leading teams Experience in technical presentations, training and customer relations Six Sigma Black Belt preferred In depth knowledge of Lean including: Value Stream Mapping, PDCA, Quick Changeover (SMED), Kanban, Cell Design for Flow, 5S & Visual Management, Poke Yoke, Standard Work, Transactional Process Improvement, Production Preparation Process (3P), Total Productive Maintenance Proven ability to lead others in use of Six Sigma problem-solving methodology and rigor Openness and ability to share and use best practices across business unit boundaries Have strong data generation, validation, and management skills, with a desire to solve problems Strong in the following: leadership skills in a matrixed environment, program and project management skills, change management skills, computer programs, statistical analysis and data analysis and reporting ***** APPLICATION INS RUCTIONS: Apply Online: https://creationtech.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/Creation/details/COMS-Leader_JR4525-1?locations=a0084ac26eec0137147854f3220c28a9
