Robert Half Senior Treasury Analyst in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois
Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Treasury Analyst role based in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. The role is mainly focused on treasury management in the telecom industry, with a requirement to work on-site for part of the week. As a Treasury Analyst, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, guiding new hires, and assisting in rebuilding the team's reputation within the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Engage in corporate treasury activities and manage treasury operations
• Provide treasury services and maintain the treasury department's functionality
• Actively participate in global treasury initiatives and projects
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with banks
• Guide new hires and direct operational traffic
• Handle day-to-day tasks as well as big picture strategic planning
• Assist in rebuilding the team's reputation within the organization
• Utilize Zendesk for ticketing, Kyriba for Treasury Management, and Excel for data management
• Use your knowledge of banking platforms to provide agnostic support
• Set a positive example for new team members and navigate internal sentiment with a proactive attitude. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Treasury Analyst role or similar position.
• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in Corporate Treasury, Global Treasury, and Treasury Activities.
• Experience with Treasury Department functions and operations is essential.
• Proficiency in Treasury Management and related software tools is required.
• Must have experience with Treasury Services and Bank Relations.
• Familiarity with Treasury Operation and the ability to efficiently manage Treasury Functions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are necessary.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant professional certifications, such as Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), are advantageous.
• Must demonstrate a high level of integrity and uphold all company policies and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and standards is preferred.
• Must be willing to continuously learn and stay updated with new industry trends and practices.
