Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Lease Analyst to join our Lease Administration team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in lease administration, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • University Graduates or equivalent experience in commercial real estate with at least 3 years of experience in lease abstractions.

  • Strong comprehension of legal language.

  • Experience with CAM and additional rent reconciliations.

  • Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills - must be comfortable navigating complex formulas.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high volumes of data and prioritize tasks.

  • Demonstrated efficiency to maintain and manage accurate data and to prioritize work within tight operational deadlines.

  • High degree of workplace ethics and integrity.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with commercial real estate software (Yardi) and accounting standards (FASB/IFRS).

Essential Functions:

  • Collect, track legal document and review for completeness to be able to abstract.

  • Abstract and review lease documents, ensuring accurate capture of critical data such as rent obligations, critical dates, and financials.

  • Accurately record lease documents information into Yardi/Corom.

  • Track and report on lease renewals, critical dates, and rent commencements.

  • Support internal and external inquiries related to lease payments, documentation, and data accuracy.

  • Ensure data integrity and manage lease files through quality control reviews and audits.

  • Collect and track forms related to new leases, renewals and tenant insurance requirements.

  • Assist with monitoring critical lease dates, notifying the appropriate business units.

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve document/abstraction-related queries.

  • Review system reports and system data for accuracy.

  • Ensure our processes and procedures are maintained to ensure adherence with all internal and external compliance policies.
