You will be working in the Teradyne Robotics Legal Department and provide legal counsel to both Universal Robots A/S and its sister company Mobile Industrial Robots A/S. To gain success in the job it is important that you are collaborative, a team player who can take initiative and that you are a self-starter. The job also demands that you are able to work on multiple projects at one time, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Additionally, you have strong communication and negotiation skills. Strong judgments skills are also a necessity. Your key responsibility will include:

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide variety of complex commercial contracts including distribution agreements, sales agreements with major international companies, sourcing agreements, technology and license agreements, guarantees, and other financial instruments.

  • Developing, maintaining and revising corporate contract templates.

  • Developing and maintaining business processes, governance and internal policies

  • Providing legal advice to our key business stakeholders.

  • Assisting in dispute resolution with customers and suppliers.

  • Working on various compliance matters, including export/import regulations and date privacy laws

  • Working on various ad hoc strategic initiatives

You will join a high paced working environment which requires you have time management and organizational skills necessary to independently manage and prioritize and to meet deadlines.

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to make fast decisions based on sound judgment are absolutely essential.

    The ideal candidate is expected to be/have:

  • Law degree or a Master's degree in a law-related field

  • 2-4 years of legal work experience as legal advisor, preferably from a major law firm and/or private company

  • Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently is a must

  • You have broad experience with contract law, and in particular, complex international transactions

  • Experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of transactional and financial documents

  • Excellent analytical, research and drafting skills

  • Ability to handle and prioritize many tasks at the same time and deliver results, often under tight deadlines

  • Ability to communicate abstract legal concepts succinctly to internal stakeholders

  • Proven ability to advise on complex legal matters

  • Commercial mindset
