As our new Software Engineer, you will be joining a high performing, dynamic team of highly motivated and talented engineers. As a team, you will be working on solving complex design and development tasks both in relation to new product development as well as continuous improvement of existing products.

You will be working closely with different x-functional teams to solve major challenges and deliver great products.

In this role, you design the future by:

  • Developing future products for the market

  • Improve our current products for production, quality, and cost

  • Use and improve our processes and procedures

  • Use and develop tools in relation to development and design verification

    You will be part of our R&D department based in Odense, Denmark.

    To succeed, we imagine you come with:

  • Are well connected within the ROS community

  • Well organized and can help driving a roadmap based on evidence and visions

  • Maintaining and driving Open-Source products

  • Handle UR and individual customers' information with discretion.

  • Have relevant programming and software architecture experience to continue developing the ROS drivers

  • Can coordinate work in a mixed setup of internal and external resources

  • Have an intensive experience in using ROS and are willing to use this knowledge to drive UR’s ROS initiatives forward

  • Well to explain and make examples and give guidelines to facilitate our customers success

  • Willing to facilitate and maintain CI and other test to ensure continuedly robustness of the products

  • Be willing to go the extra mile to achieve a robust product that always performs.

  • Fluent in English
