Job Title: Office Manager (Support Staff Supervisor) Job Description:

The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR) is looking for a talented,energetic and people-oriented team member to fill the role of Regional Office Manager in our Ogden office. This position oversees day-to-day operations of our licensing operations,relays information between wildlife managers and members of the public,and coordinates with Program Managers regarding inventory,payroll and HR actions. You would play an integeral role in the success of the DWR Northern Regional Office,while helping to facilitate the enjoyment of hunting and fishing opportunities for individuals and families. Principal Duties As the Office Manager,you will:

  • Provide professional customer service,and supervise others,in licensing operations and daily transactions
  • Anticipate the needs of the region and welcome new assignments with excitement and flexibility
  • Manage,coordinate and advise regional management on inventory,payroll,and personnel/HR actions
  • Complete a variety of assignments using various state computer programs,as well as Microsoft Office

Health Insurance - Public Employee Health Program (PEHP):

Retirement - Utah Retirement Systems (URS):

  • Employees who accrued service credit with an employer covered by the Utah Retirement Systems before 7/1/2011 are part of the Tier I Public Employees System.
  • Employees hired on or after 7/1/2011 and who have never been in the URS retirement system have two options for retirement in the Tier II System.
  • Tier 2 Hybrid Retirement System. Employer contributes an amount equal to   10% of your salary between both plans (pension and 401(k))
  • Tier 2 Defined Contribution Plan. Employer contributes an amount equal to 10% of your salary to a 401(k) plan only.  
  • Employer contributions to your 401(k) are vested after four years.

Paid Time Off:

  • Annual leave and sick leave are accrued at 4 hours per pay period each (4 hours annual,4 hours sick).
  • Annual leave amounts increase with years of service.
  • We have 12 paid holidays.
