Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Utilities Lead Technician to join our team in North Ogden. In this role, you will lead a team of 2-3 technicians in our state-of-the-art food and beverage manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for maintaining and operating essential utilities systems to ensure a seamless production process. Responsibilities
Operate and maintain utilities systems such as boilers, chillers, compressors, nitrogen generators, RO water systems, and HVAC units to ensure an uninterrupted supply of essential services for the manufacturing facility.
Manage and execute the Preventative Maintenance program.
Perform routine inspections and tests on utilities and wastewater treatment equipment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and environmental health and safety.
Conduct regular inspections of utilities equipment, identifying and addressing potential issues or inefficiencies to prevent disruptions to manufacturing operations.
Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines when handling chemicals and operating equipment, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
Handle and manage the use of strong chemicals, including acids, alkalis, and disinfectants, following strict safety protocols, and ensuring proper storage, handling, and disposal to prevent hazardous incidents and maintain a safe working environment.
Participate in emergency response protocols and spill containment procedures to minimize environmental impacts in case of accidents or system failures.
Perform general maintenance tasks as required.
Essential Skills
Experience in maintenance and compressor systems
Proficiency in Preventive Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Knowledge of HVAC and boiler inspection
Experience in a GMP environment
Team Lead experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with PLCs
Knowledge of handling strong chemicals
Experience in beverage manufacturing

Work Environment
This role is based in a beverage manufacturing facility with day shift hours from 7:00am to 7:00pm, following an alternating 3-2-2 weekend schedule. The work involves handling and managing utilities systems and strong chemicals, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr.

You must make changes to your benefits within 30 days of your qualifying life event. If you miss the
deadline, you may have to wait until next year's annual enrollment.
