About the Role

TWE seeks a Luxury Sales Manager for our Dallas and Oklahoma market. Located in Dallas area, the Luxury Sales Manager is a role dedicated to TWE’s luxury portfolio and is primarily focused on securing new channels of distribution, education and experience in designated state(s). This Luxury Sales Manager incorporates local/national luxury initiatives and is responsible for growing the luxury business (distribution, BTG placements etc.) in their state(s). The Manager, Luxury Sales, has leadership responsibility for managing the experienced team members by providing priority guidance and tracking of key sales and experience activities.

You will be responsible for-

Luxury Growth Management:

  • Prepare strategic plan to deliver Luxury targeted new distribution, education, and activation activities for TWE in assigned state(s).

  • Owns and drives the sale of TWE Luxury Portfolio within designated state(s) to on premise and independent retail accounts:

  • Drive new luxury placements and increase luxury market share in assigned state(s) through securing new Points of Distribution within key independent and On-Premise accounts.

  • Expand by-the-glass placements and OP velocity within influential accounts.

  • Identify prestige/key accounts & develop account performance & activation plans.

  • Manage execution of luxury allocations in relationship with key accounts.

  • Build strong account relationships, manage education initiatives, event activations, and wine-maker visits in assigned state(s).

  • Engage with account managers, owners, and other key stakeholders to develop awareness and drive sales of TWE’s luxury wine portfolio.

  • Participate in and conduct tastings and trainings for account personnel (wine tasting and wait staff training).

  • Makes regular sales calls to targeted universe of luxury accounts for all relevant Fine Wine and Fine Dining accounts in the assigned state(s) to provide the primary relationship between the account and TWE.

  • Owns relationship & visibility w/ key players/accounts (trade) - top accounts in the state(s)

  • Communicates and works closely with Distributor Management team to drive the sales of the TWE Luxury Portfolio in fine wine retail and on-premise accounts within assigned state(s).

Execution, Activation and Events:

  • Drives the education and event activation efforts for the Luxury portfolio in designated state(s).

  • Educate and engage consumers, trade, and distributors in order to increase brand awareness and create brand advocacy/affinity for the Collection.

  • Ensure successful execution of all Luxury Trade Marketing platforms: Luxapalooza, Luxury Pre-Sell, Luxury Manager Forum, and PR and Trade Marketing Events.

  • Promotes TWE Luxury brands in cooperation with other departments, driving brand activation and hosting memorable events for high-end venues and guests.

  • Drive/Manage compliance for ONSA or Regional retail accounts, along w/ activation of optional placements.

  • Collaborate w/ Trade Marketing to create and deliver luxury/on premise selling materials & share best practices.

  • Manage all aspects of Luxury Sampling Events Program.

  • In market event ownership, in coordination with the Events team and DTC.

About You

  • You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.

  • You have a minimum of 5 years of Sales experience and a proven track record in on-premise sales and education expertise.

  • You can use programs for presentation preparation, budgets, and basic analysis.

  • You have On-Premise / Fine Wine Channel and Retail experience (preferred).

  • You have a strong understanding of luxury marketing.

  • You have strong Wine knowledge – certifications a plus.

  • You are an engaging public speaker and storyteller.

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

  • You have strong persuasive presentation skills, including the ability to speak before small and large audiences both internally and externally, required.

  • You must possess strong negotiation and mediation skills with the ability to influence and motivate others to meet objectives under sometimes-restrictive timelines.

  • You can manage tasks and to exercise independent judgment without supervision.

  • You are organized and can multi-task and deliver projects, including having the ability to manage multiple competing priorities are essential.

  • You have an aptitude for technology and are proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), desktop publishing programs. Experience with Essbase and Pricer preferred.

  • You have high integrity and a commitment for a strong work ethic.

  • Significant travel within assigned territory required.

  • Valid driver’s license required.

  • Must be able to lift a case of wine (45 pounds).

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 per year and a target bonus and other benefits. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work in our target market listed above. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
