Job Summary: As a Door Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating doors in a pre-hung door shop, hanging doors in heated residential and commercial projects, completing tasks within deadlines, following procedures and enforcing safety in the shop.
Essential Responsibilities of the Door Fabricator:
- Perform daily duties within the shop.
- Track jobs and orders to ensure production goals are met.
- Hang pre-hung doors and operate necessary equipment (training provided).
- Demonstrate flexibility by performing additional duties and adapting to changes productively.
Qualifications for the Door Fabricator position:
- Strong carpentry skills
- Experience with a variety of power tools
- Willingness to learn new machinery and equipment
- Good calculation and math skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Forklift operation skills (training provided)
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
