Description
Orlando area company is looking for an Accountant II. The company is looking for a minimum of 3+ years of experience. Responsibilities of the Accountant II will include, but not limited to the following.
-- Responsible for the month-end close, including identifying and recording necessary journal entries; reconciling balance sheet accounts; and performing an analytical review of accounts for variances and unusual activity.
--- Reconciliation of the key asset and liability accounts, prepaid rollforward schedule, fixed asset roll-forward schedule.
-- Prepare balance sheet supporting schedules.
-- Assist in the annual financial audit and tax preparation, as well as ad-hoc projects.
-- Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency while maintaining controls.
-- Perform month-end closing duties, including preparation of all recurring, non-recurring and adjusting journal entries, account analysis.
-- Other duties include reconciling, preparing schedules and financial reports, assisting in the annual audit.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2+ years of experience.
Analytical problem solving skills.
