Hilton Complex Assistant Director of Revenue Management - Signia by Hilton and Waldorf Astoria Orlando in Orlando, Florida

Signia by Hilton and Waldorf Astoria Orlando is looking for a Complex Assistant Director of Revenue to join their Revenue Team.

The Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek (https://www.hilton.com/en/hotels/orlhhsa-signia-by-hilton-orlando-bonnet-creek/resort/) , boasts 1009 bedrooms and suites, with 175,000 sq. ft of meeting space and an additional 35,000 sq. ft currently being built! The hotel boasts 7 distinct dining optionsincluding La Luce, Zeta Asia, Harvest, Beech, Myth and Muse as well as a three-acre lagoon-style pool with lazy river.

Waldorf Astoria Orlando (https://www.waldorfastoriaorlando.com/) consists of 501 deluxe rooms and suites and has 36,500 sq. ft of meeting space including the brand-new Central Park Ballroom. Additionally, ithas 4 signature Waldorf Astoria food and beverage restaurants: Bull & Bear, Peacock Alley, Oscar’s and Aquamarine, an amazing formal signature pool with lush landscaping as well as an 18-hole 7,113-yard championship Golf Course & Clubhouse Grill. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Director in monitoring, managing and maintaining group and transient inventories to ensure the most effective and efficient balance between demand and availability in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. You will also have oversight of the Reservations Department.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Possess strong analytical skills, including the ability to effectively address any collaboration issues as appropriate.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Three to Four years of revenue management work experience.
  • Group experience.

What will I be doing?

As the Assistant Director of Revenue Management, you would be responsible for assisting the Director in monitoring, managing and maintaining group and transient inventories to ensure the most effective and efficient balance between demand and availability in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Assist in managing and maintaining group and transient inventory controls including, but not limited to, room accommodation and rate inventory controls, roll-in controls, group inventory and cut-off dates, implementation of blackout dates, maintaining demand information and managing sellout strategies in partnership with Front Office
  • Partner with Reservations to ensure efficient management of daily group inventory to maximize inventory and profitability
  • Develop, monitor and adjust sales and pricing strategies
  • Participate in competitive and demand analyses
  • Assist in forecasting, reviewing all competitive shops, reviewing demand, convention and city event calendars, maintaining data on competitor products and maintaining historical data on events and performance
  • Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
  • Recruit, interview and train team members
  • Assist in daily department management and participate in and facilitate meetings
