Primary Purpose

The Director of Sales (DOS) is responsible for all sales activities within their defined territory to continually drive revenue growth and achieve sales objectives. This position continually works to design plans that meet sales targets while developing and maintaining relationships with clients and continually evaluating customer needs to identify areas where USS products and services can be utilized.

Essential Functions

  • Develop a strategic territory plan for reliably delivering financial growth and regional account development

  • Assign sales territories to sales representatives, coordinate sales activities, quotas, and goals

  • Partner with marketing and business intelligence functions to formulate regional sales strategy

  • Execute marketing plans to develop local referenceable customers and increase brand awareness

  • Accountable for attracting, developing, and retaining the highest quality talent available in the marketplace

  • Manage the performance and professional development of the sales team with coaching and providing learning opportunities

  • Communicate USS sales vision/processes, create business plans and provide organizational updates to the sales team

  • Analyze sales data intelligence to drive sales strategies within the region

  • Monitor and control expenditures of the region to align with budgetary requirements

  • Represent USS in the community to enhance business relationships and to increase brand awareness

  • Ensure ethical business practices

  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of competitive companies

  • Champion, demonstrate and uphold our core values: customer-centric, respect, integrity, teamwork, responsible, accountability, & winning

  • Perform other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Director of Sales has supervisory responsibilities for the Sector Account Managers (SAM), Territory Account Managers (TAM) and Key Account Managers (KAM) in their defined geographic region

Salary Range

$115,000.00 – $230,000.00 / year

Pay Transparency Statement

At United Site Services, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all locations across the US. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.
