Naval Air Systems Command LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in Orlando Naval Warfare Center, Florida

Summary You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the SUSTAINMENT DEPARTMENT, INTEGRATED PRODUCTS DIVISION of NAWCTSD ORLANDO. Responsibilities You will prepare, monitor, review and defend the total Supply Support budget for training system spares, tools, and test equipment. You will develop cost and lead time estimates for Supply Support packages and initial material support items for Navy training systems. You will assess training system program documentation and equipment design for integrated logistics support considerations. You will provide expert advice on supply support to team members, field personnel, and custodians. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Utilizing concepts, principles, and practices of Simulators and Maintenance Training Device Systems; 2) Demonstrating knowledge in New/Fielded Training Systems and Subsystems; 3) Analyzing findings and making recommendations on substantive contracting processes, including new contract actions and contract modifications; and 4) Evaluating technical proposals addressing cost-effective maintainability, reliability and supportability requirements to meet engineering and logistics specifications.
