JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for setting up, adjusting and operating New Wysong Brake, with sheet followers for lifting assistance in a clean, modern - climate controlled facility. 1st or 2nd shift availability.
1st shift: Monday - Friday, 5am to 1:30pm
2nd shift: Monday - Thursday, 2:00pm to 12:00am - receives 8% 2nd shift premium.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Gathers necessary materials and performs layout per specifications.
Sets up and operates fabricating machines, such as press brakes, shears, iron workers, saws, punch presses, turret presses, and rivet machines.
Measure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments, such as calipers, scales, and micrometers.
Monitors the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
References blueprint and confers with Lead person to determine job requirements.
Disposes of scrap or waste material in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
No education required.
HS diploma or GED preferred.
1 to 2 years of experience required.
Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Forklift experience, preferred.
