The position

By joining our team in Marketing, Midstream & Processing you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support projects across Equinor that are related to EU research & innovation, including developing applications/bids for EU funding.

  • Monitor, identify and promote funding opportunities to Equinor business units.

  • Develop a detailed understanding of policies and regulations on relevant EU energy & climate policy that have impact on funding opportunities.

  • Collaborate with business units to develop strategies for public-private partnerships en route to investment decisions.

  • Be part of a small specialist team that works closely with Equinor business units on EU policies and funding projects, across a range of areas.

  • Develop a network with European policy makers and partners.

  • Represent the company, its business interests and policy positions in selected external associations and networks.

You

  • Solid knowledge of European policy processes in the field of climate and energy.

  • 5-10 years of experience engaging with, and applying for funding from, EU Research & Innovation, with a proven track record of winning awards.

  • Excellent written and spoken English is essential; other language(s)would be a benefit.

  • An established network with European policy makers and key partners would be beneficial.

  • Hands-on experience with national level funding programmes in France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland would be beneficial.

  • A good team player, with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

  • Strong analytical abilities, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills are essential; including the ability to produce concise and precise written work.

  • A professional, technology interested, curious and flexible attitude is highly valued.
