Account Manager

Job Description

The Commercial Lines Account Manager supports one or more Account Executive and works as a team with a Technical Assistant to ensure dayly customer service and facilitate renewals and new business. They benefit from the support of an experienced marketing team to assist with the placement of insurance files.

Main duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Providing prompt and professional customer service for client's dayly needs;

  • Assisting in the preparation of placement strategy and service proposals;

  • Communicating with clients and maintaining proper documentation for various files;

  • Preparing quotes for insurers and proposals for clients;

  • Following up on expected documents from insurers and clients;

  • Preparing discrepancy documents and ensuring necessary corrections;

  • Ensuring proper billing and collaborating on accounts receivable follow-ups.

Job requirements

Technical skills

  • College diploma;

  • Valid AMF license - Commercial-lines damage insurance;

  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite;

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience;

  • Excellent command of English and French (spoken and written).

Personal skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy;

  • Ability to analyze coverage options;

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks;

  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;

  • Team player with good interpersonal skills.

Complementary skills

  • Knowledge of EPIC software is an asset;

  • Experience in a paperless environment is an asset.
