General Production Worker
Job Description: Aerotek is thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented General Production Worker to join the manufacturing floor of a dynamic pharmaceutical company. Starting as a packager, you will play a crucial role in labeling and packaging products for shipping to the warehouse. Initial tasks include breaking down boxes, with opportunities to advance to the mixing station to create products for testing. This role involves standing at various stations, moving, and bending, making it perfect for those who enjoy staying active and engaged.
Key Responsibilities:
Efficient Packaging : Accurately package approximately 400 boxes daily, each containing 10 products.
Product Preparation: Prepare media petri dishes for bacteria testing for hospitals.
Stacking & Wrapping : Skillfully stack and wrap packages in sets of ten.
Data Management: Enter product numbers into an Excel spreadsheet with precision.
Documentation: Complete paperwork and product information, including daily production counts.
Maintenance: Perform daily cleaning of the production floor, including restocking bins, sweeping, and mopping.
Material Handling: Wrap plastic around skids and move them using a pump jack.
Top Skills' Details:
Attention to Detail: Conduct minor quality inspections of packages to ensure high standards.
Machine Operation: Ability to work with different automation production line machines.
Experience with production SOP
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Pump Jack Experience: Experience with pump jack lifts (training provided).
Pallet Wrapping: Ability to wrap pallets securely.
Physical Strength: Capable of repeatedly lifting 50 lb boxes.
Box Building: Skilled in building cardboard boxes efficiently.
Willingness to Learn: Open to candidates without prior work experience but eager to learn and grow.

The pay range for this position is $17.20 - $18.36/hr.
