• Plan and prioritize shipments to meet customer needs and operational deadlines
• Supervise and train shipping team members, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
• Oversee the loading and unloading of shipments, and ensure proper handling of products
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and logistics activities
• Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve any shipping issues
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols and regulations within the warehouse
• Optimize shipping processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and reduce costs

What qualifications will make you successful?

• Proven experience in a shipping or logistics role, with at least years in a supervisory capacity
• Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including domestic and international logistics
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and software
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations
• Certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus
