Job Description

Join our dynamic financial team as an Assistant Financial Supervisor. Your role will entail supervising the accounting team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and staff. You will manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Additional responsibilities include coordinating and managing year-end audits and bank audits, liaising with external auditors. You will be expected to develop and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. Your role will also involve conducting complex financial analysis and preparing reports for senior management as needed. Ensuring compliance with local, state (including California), and federal regulatory requirements is a critical part of the role. You will collaborate with other departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets is also part of your responsibility. You will handle special projects and initiatives related to financial operations and reporting.

Hard Skills

  • Bachelors degree must have; CPA nice to have

  • 2+ years in accounting manager or assistant controller positions

  • GAAP experience

  • Inventory experience

  • Management experience of a team of 2+ people

  • Manufacturing or ecommerce industry experience preferred
