Responsibilities
In keeping with the Dignity Health core values under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist the Pharmacy Buyer Tech II is responsible for the preparation and distribution of all medication orders according to hospital policies standard practices of the profession and State and Federal laws and regulations; Primary responsibility is to order all pharmaceuticals supplies I.V. solutions and sets controlled substances and minor equipment required by the pharmacy department.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Pharmacy tech certification twelve (12) months previous hospital pharmacy experience and at least three (3) years pharmaceutical purchasing experience and I.V. and Chemo certification by a qualified institution required.
This position is represented by SEIU Local 399 and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Pay Range
$31.37 - $39.19 /hour
