JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a full-time Education Specialist to provide comprehensive training to new and existing employees on a wide range of financial services, including transactions, phones, member services, lending processes and basic financial counseling.and external). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Obtain a thorough working knowledge of all Credit Union products, services, procedures and policiesResponsible for training teller, lending and member service functions on products, software, compliance, policies and proceduresAssist with maintaining consistency throughout all branchesAbility to work as a Branch SpecialistTraining may include structured office environment and in-branch follow-up trainingAssist in the development and execution of an annual training planMaintain a highly motivated, well-trained staff that is knowledgeable on all credit union products and servicesCreate and foster a positive professional working relationship with staffEncourage staff to actively promote products and servicesKeep abreast of new training trends by attending seminars and reviewing professional publicationsComplete the Financial Counseling Certification ProgramAny other duties assigned by supervisor/managementComply with all safety and security policies, practices and procedures. Report any unsafe or suspicious activities to your supervisorCommunity involvement is a requirement of this positionComplies with all federal and state procedures and processes, including (but not limited to) the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and OFAC. Performs related responsibilities as requiredQUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:Associate's degree or related knowledgeAbility to lift up to 25 lbs. (BSA) and OFAC.
