Technical Project Manager (The Vanguard Group, Inc. / Paoli, PA) -- Interact and liaise between the IT team and data team to understand the requirement and make sure data is delivered on time; run SQL script in hue query cluster to validate data in AWS data lake; work with stakeholders to identify data points required to be ingested in data lake; prioritize and oversee tasks and make sure stakeholders get data they need on time; manage database ensuring data accuracy, consistency and security; translate business requirements to actionable tasks, prioritize them based on value and urgency and create a roadmap for data projects; work collaboratively with team of data engineers, analyst and dynamics developers to deliver data requested for business reporting. Requires Master's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Technology and Management, or closely related IT field and two years of experience in job offered or in IT position(s) including Data Analyst and/or Business Data Analyst and/or Business Data Analyst -- Intern; or Bachelor's and five years of experience. Background in education, training or experience must include complex SQL Querying; Python Scripts for analysis of large datasets; Data Visualization tools including Tableau, Sisense, Power BI, Crystal Reports; background building insightful data visualization; data modelling and database design; Risk Management (identify risks and take necessary step to mitigate their effect); problem solving skills; project management skills; communication and interpersonal skills. Company operates on hybrid model with three days in office and work-from-home available two days.
