The Role

The role is responsible for providing operational and execution support to both the sourcing and corporate procurement management functions.

The role is responsible for all Sourcing & Procurement tools and systems, process optimization and automation, data analytics, as well as supplier risk & relationship management, supplier compliance, supplier onboarding and sustainable procurement program(s). This VP will own critical executive-level stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment of category strategy to strategic business imperatives. He or she will be responsible for guiding each category management team in establishing and executing value-creation strategy for their respective categories.

What you'll do

  • Lead and manage a team responsible for ensuring that all enabling processes are efficient and effective in supporting Sourcing & Procurement activities in line with the organization’s objectives and priorities.

  • Lead and/or support continuous improvement projects, coordinate project efforts across the Sourcing & Procurement team and related business functions and ensure that the process is as smooth and efficient as possible.

  • Collaborate with the Legal team to improve the current contract management process and improve contracting overall.

  • Define and improve the supplier onboarding process.

  • Manage 3rd party service providers of technology tools in support of the sourcing process. This includes service levels, performance, and enhancements necessary to meet Company needs.

  • In partnership with Corporate Compliance, ensure the supplier risk framework is executed to appropriately manage third-party risk across as needed.

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including IT, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and HR, to understand their procurement needs and deliver effective solutions.

  • Lead cross-functional teams in strategic Sourcing & Procurement projects, ensuring alignment with business requirements and objectives.

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree recommended but not required.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in an operational support and/or contract management function, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Experience in the hospitality and/or franchise industry is highly desirable.
