Boat Coordinator Location: Pascagoula, MS. GENERAL FUNCTION: The Boat Coordinator supervises and coordinates the production phases of vessel construction within a manufacturing facility, ensuring production schedules are met. This role operates under the general direction of the Superintendent, Plant Manager, or other Division Manager. TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following statements describe the general nature and level of work performed and are not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities: *Develop tank dry search, launch, and delivery schedules. *Ensure safe working conditions in production areas. *Coordinate with Foremen to ensure product compliance with company standards and specifications. *Monitor the status of all production schedules for assigned jobs. *Oversee and coordinate efforts of production crafts. *Track and monitor material ordering and receiving. *Manage and evaluate man-hour budgets, safety, and work quality. *Serve as the primary production contact for owners and their representatives. DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: *Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, plant products, and components, including applicable regulatory requirements and best practices. *Ability to analyze and interpret blueprints and production drawings. *Skill in planning cost-effective work procedures while maintaining quality standards. *Effective leadership and communication skills to instruct, build, and direct a production team. DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE & TRAINING: *High school diploma or GED, supplemented by coursework in production management, industrial technology, or a related field; or equivalent job training/experience. *Experience in plant operations and supervision. *5 years shipyard experience in multiple trades "preferred
