We are searching for a Senior Configuration Manager (CM) to support the Persistent Maritime Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program Office (Triton MQ-4C), PMA-262 Cooperative Program Production, Sustainment, and Follow-on Development under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the United States (U.S.) and Australia (AUS). The Cooperative Configuration Manager, Senior represents Australian equities as a member of the Configuration Management Team in conducting analysis and developing new requirements, as described in our Configuration Management Plan. This is a hybrid position.

Functional Description: The Cooperative Configuration Manager, Senior will be responsible for advocacy of Australian engineering and logistics requirements throughout the change management process to ensure timely and accurate information to inform key decisions. Collects , organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft and product programs . Maintains configuration control of acquisition products and data. Tracks configuration changes. Coordinates and supports development of Engineering Change Proposals . Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.

  • Monitor and participate in the configuration management of the system as an advocate for the Australian cooperative partner.

  • Track engineering and Logistics critical path inputs to the project and program integrated government schedule (IGS) associated with coordination of the tasks required to fully support retrofit modifications.

  • Facilitate meetings, respond the Requests for Information (RFI), and track schedules.

  • Maintain knowledge of disclosure parameters and related DoN Guidance to assist with release of technical data to cooperative partners.

  • Ensuring Australian requirements integrate into the PMA-262 change management process while completing timely transmission of relevant documentation to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) to enable timely decisions.

  • Using knowledge of Australian Work Health & Safety, MQ-4C Concept of Operations (CONOPS), maintenance logistics, and supply practices to provide appropriate and relevant implementation recommendations.

  • Reviewing Engineering Change Proposals in the Engineering Change Management (ECM) tool.

  • Attending weekly PMA-262 JCCB to ensure Australian unique requirements are considered and reporting to the RAAF on the progress and status of all relevant ECP’s.

  • Assisting the CPMT Business & Commercial Manager (BCM) in the planning and execution of contract actions supporting change management planning.

  • Attending RAAF and USN Fleet Planning meetings to assist and coordinate modification and maintenance planning

  • Review and update fleet planning documentation and ensure both USN and RAAF fleet planning inputs are considered.

  • Utilizing PMA-262 planning documents to ensure all RAAF modifications are coordinated within available resources.

  • This position will require domestic and international travel.

  • This position requires a Security Clearance of SECRET.

    Qualifications:

    Required Education: A Master's Degree with preference to an Engineering degree, or relevant technical discipline or allowable substitutions is required for this position. Allowable substitutions include a Bachelor's Degree plus two years of additional work experience, an Associate's Degree plus four years of additional work experience or six years of additional work experience. Work experience must be performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category.

    Required Experience: Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience performing duties described in the functional description.

    Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
