JOB SUMMARYIndependently carry out policies and programs covering several or all of the following: Overall transport management including transport audit, compliance audit, feedback from employees and all matter related to transport management.

Independently provide support in functional areas of human resources for all plant including ESD garment issuing and receiving area, assist in the development and implementation of HR policies related to transport management. Prepare reports in conformance with legislated requirements or organization needs.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEmployee Relations:

  • Responsible for overall transport management.

  • Compulsory to conduct audit for all transport used including feeder van/bus.

  • Monitor transport schedule for every shift including for off-day, rest day & public holidays.

  • Provide briefing & training for all transport supervisors, drivers on the requirements of transportation procedure, protocol organize by individual plant.

  • Check and confirm transport procedure related to APAD, JPJ, and other government dept related to transportation guidelines.

  • Received feedback / complaints from employees on the transport issues, investigate and update the investigation report to employees, transport contractors and superior immediately.

  • Prepare monthly report for transport management and update superior the findings.

  • Report immediately any transport incident to top management and investigate ASAP the cases within 24hours.

  • Involve in Cost saving projects for transport management.

  • Arrange transport for ad-hoc activities for work cell, employee transfer plant, special event and others.

  • Speak with/to a variety of external contacts including APAD, JPJ, PUSPAKOM to understand more information on the transport procedures.

  • Perform background checks for all transport drivers and back up drivers.

  • Conduct new hire orientation on the transport management.

  • Act as a Strategic Partner with Human Resources Services team in conducting needs analysis.

  • Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.

  • Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.

  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONSKNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Posses at least a diploma in Human resources or equivalent

  • 2 to 5 years working experience in managing transportation for manufacturing sector.

  • Ability to work with more independently and strategically.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

  • Advanced PC skills, including with basic excel, word and Microsoft power point.
