Kelly Services Packer/Quality Control Inspector in Penn Yan, New York
At Kelly® Professional & Industrial, we’re seeking Packers/Quality Control Inspectors to work for a leading food manufacturing company in Penn Yan, NY. These are temp-to-hire positions, offering a great opportunity for career growth.
Pay: $17.75-19.25/hr. Temp to hire.
12-hour Shifts: Days (7am - 7pm,) or Overnights (7pm - 7am).
- Never work more than 3 days in a row, and enjoy 3 day weekends every other week!
What does a typical day look like for this position? You’ll be:
Packaging products and stacking cases on pallets and loading them onto conveyors
Operating Machines (labeler, ink-jet printer, box erector, case packer, etc.)
Manually cleaning equipment and surrounding work areas.
Sampling products and packaging to ensure quality through physical, chemical and visual inspections.
Following and documenting according to company parameters.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Ideal candidates for these positions will:
Have a High School Diploma/GED.
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.
Have excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Food industry experience is preferred, but not required.
