Shipper 2
Essential Responsibilities:
Shipper 2 job duties include but are not limited to the following:
Unload merchandise from trucks and move merchandise to designated areas for inspection and stocking
Load or package boxes and crates for shipping while ensuring accuracy of contents
Scan items against order slips to ensure full order is filled with correct merchandise
Assist with packing materials distribution and disposal of empty boxes
Stock items in assigned locations within the warehouse and take part in the inventory count process
Accurately pick merchandise from existing stock to fill customer’s orders
Pack and seal boxes following standard procedures
Use of a hand scanner to enter data in a computer system
Additional Responsibilities:
Additional tasks as assigned by management
Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must be able to Lift 50lbs independently and up 80lbs with assistance
Extended periods of standing/walking (10+ hours/day)
Attention to detail and ability to count accurately
Must be able to locate and identify specific items
Must be able to use of a hand scanner to enter data in a computer system
Must be able to manually pack and seal boxes following standard procedures
