THE POSITION

Join our team as a Claims Representative and investigate work-related insurance claims to determine if employees of our policy holders meet the criteria to receive compensation. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will investigate reported incidents or claims within 48 hours, considering factors including the nature of the incident, employment relationship, and relevant information to assess compensability. Responsibilities include managing minor disability claims, detecting potential fraud, and ensuring accurate claim intake data. Work involves contacting all parties involved, completing forms, reviewing medical bills and documentation, monitoring claims for risks, and recognizing when independent medical examinations or utilization reviews are needed. Your initial decisions on work-related claims will help ensure that eligible injured workers receive the support they need. Join our team and grow with us!

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Pittsburgh.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years of clerical work experience that includes collecting, recording, compiling, or preparing documents for medical, health, or work-related insurance claims;or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
