Title: INSPECTOR (LAUNDR, DRY CLNG, TLR, EMBRDY) Location: United States-Florida-Pensacola Job Number: 240001WY Job Summary: Responsible for the inspection of all pre-finished and finished garments articles at the Laundry Dry Cleaning Tailoring and Embroidery locations. Duties and Responsibilities: Receives and reviews written orders and instructions. Verifies that all items on the paperwork are the items received and that the services requested are clear. Where discrepancies are notated or instructions are missing has the ability to communicate the discrepancies and request correction of items and or information. Inspects all incoming items and writes customer tickets for all incoming items to be serviced. Notates services requested prior to sending to the specific department for service. Checks for tears damage and any request not within uniform regulations. Inspects completed outgoing orders to ensure the service provided meets or exceeds quality standards for the specific service. Notify supervisor of any quality issues. Maintains detailed and accurate logs for all incoming and outgoing orders and services requested. Works under the general supervision of a designated supervisor. Performs within the framework of established guidelines. Work is reviewed in terms of required results obtained and compliance with established procedures. Will be required to become familiar with Uniform Regulations uniform embroidery guidelines and certification requirements and or laundry dry cleaning specifications care instructions. Assists customers with uniforms to include fitting to Uniform Regulations uniform embroidery guidance and providing accurate laundry dry cleaning instructions. Ships completed orders direct to the customer Verifies that all shipping information is accurately inputted. Ensures items are properly packaged packed. Provides tracking information to the appropriate contact. Ensures outgoing items are placed in the proper staging area. Is able to operate embroidery tailoring and or laundry dry cleaning equipment if the business need requires it. Performs other related duties as assigned Qualifications: Six months experience that provided the applicant with general knowledge in a distribution center and or retail store that provides products and or service to a customer. Physical requirements: Stands stoops walks and or kneels continuously on hard surface. Frequently lifts bundles weighing up to 25 pounds however occasional lifting of bundles over 50 pounds is required. Potential to operate machinery and equipment and must have continuous use of hands and arms.
