Job Summary:
The Cat® Foresight team is seeking a talented and motivated Principal Digital Program Manager to plan, organize, and implement complex digital projects. This role will work across all Cat® Foresight products and teams to coordinate release roadmaps, consolidate engineering requests, and define and drive integration strategies across products to make Cat® Foresight one seamless application experience.

What You Will Do:
Managing the day-to-day activities of cross-functional digital products, including overseeing product development responsibilities and schedules. Developing contingency plans for potential risks.
Strategy development for product integration
Directing and motivating project teams.
Evaluating and managing deliverables to ensure that service expectations are achievable, developed, and met.
Monitoring project results for significant deviations. Ensuring adherence to quality standards and processes.
What You Will Have:
Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Expert knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
Project Administration: Expert knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies, practices and tools for administering projects.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Extensive knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Implementation: Extensive knowledge of how to run applications for organizations; ability to implement application software within an organization and help end-users perform specific tasks (ex: accounting or graphic design).
Considerations for Top Candidates:
Extensive program management leadership experience working with software engineering teams in an agile environment (typically 8+ years).
Experience delivering cross-functional digital products with complex integrated data flows
Experience building strategic digital product plans
Experience working with cloud based infrastructure and engineering team on shared service software platforms is desired as well
Proven experience with project management concepts including project charters, scheduling and planning projects and successful completion.
Experience leading and coaching Project Managers (typically 3+ years).
Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, Confluence, Power BI, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tools.
Excellent interpersonal skills are required to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or influence others inside and outside the department to take specific actions.
Should have strong project management skills, team leadership skills, excellent communication skills, strong analytical and organizational skills.
PMP certification preferred

Additional Information:
This position has the option to be based out of either our Chicago, IL or Peoria, IL offices with a flexible hybrid work environment.
