About the role: High performing, durable equipment begins with precise engineering, and it all starts with our engineering team. Working closely with customers, our engineers develop advanced products to meet the ever-changing needs of the industry. This role plays a crucial step in the process of accurately designing mechanical and structural components to our product. While this role mostly sits at a desk, it relies on the collaboration and communication between the engineering team, clients and production to ensure an end result that exceeds our clients expectations. Responsibilities and Tasks: Support the engineering team in preparing layouts and documents for design reviews. Create BOM\'s, process engineering design changes, create and/or modify assembly and component models, and participate in design review changes. Use CAD based design software to create and modify drawings in 2D and 3D Work on multiple projects at once and prioritize your workload with your team Develop and demonstrate strong technical expertise in mechanical design of industrial equipment Requirements Candidate Required qualifications: Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or an Associates in Engineering Design with work experience 3+ years experience in design/detailing of mechanical/structural equipment Experience using Creo (ProE), AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD design software Understanding of metal fabrication, metal forming, weldments, tolerance, etc. Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask, plan, and organize as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: 3D design and CAD experiences, ideally for industrial equipment or machinery. ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online: https://recruiting.paylocity.com/recruiting/jobs/Details/2504920/Mixer-Systems-Inc/Mechanical-Design-Engineer
