Program Overview

The Comcast Cooperative Educational Program (Co-op) immerses students into the daily operations of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. Designed for students whose curriculum allows for a cooperative learning track, the co-op becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units. Throughout the experience, there is opportunity for exposure to mentorship and professional development while having some fun along the way.

Role Overview

Comcast RISE was created in 2020 to help small businesses hardest hit by COVID-19 recover and thrive. To date, more than 13, 5 00 small businesses were awarded with over $1 25 million in monetary, marketing, and technology grants.

As small businesses transition from pandemic recovery to a focus on expansion and growth, Comcast continues its efforts to help an even broader range of small businesses, while continuing to focus on diversity, inclusion, and community investment. This year, Comcast RISE will award 500 recipients in five cities with a grant package that includes business consultation, educational resources, monetary grant, media creation , and a technology makeover.

We are seeking a Comcast RISE Co-Op who will be responsible for supporting the HQ RISE Team with process improvement , analysis , reporting and also execution of the recipient awards . As part of this team, the co-op will be exposed to a fast-paced, start-up like environment where all of us where multiple hats and jump in where needed . One day you might be presenting customer satisfaction results to senior leaders, and the next day you might be helping us craft an internal marketing campaign! This role will also work with multiple partners and teams both inside and outside of Corporate DEI, as well as external vendors and customers.

Co-op responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing the tNPS 2.0 process: Ensuring the timely delivery of recurring recipient satisfaction surveys, d eveloping dashboards and automated reporting, analyzing trends to identify and recommend areas of opportunity , presenting results to leadership .

  • Customer Communications: Maintaining Comcast RISE inquiry mailboxes. Escalating issues as necessary and supporting the timely resolution of recipient requests.

  • Managing the Comcast RISE brand and asset repository : Ensuring that the RISE asset library has the latest videos and collateral. Archiving and tagging all assets. Creating a file system and naming convention to organize the assets.

  • RISE Vendor Management: Identify RISE recipients that can support various gifting initiatives. P la cing and tracking orders with vendors . Report out on dollars spent supporting RISE recipients.

  • Assist ing with various program activities ( e.g. recipient document review and uploading) during the award fulfillment window October through February.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time

  • Passionate about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and enthusiastic about driving results that impact our employees, customers, and the communities we serve

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior management

  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Curious about business operations and how large-scale programs operate behind-the- scenes

  • I nterest in the telecommunications, cable, and media industries

  • Preferred Majors: General Business , Business Administration

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.

  • Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting September 23, 2024 through March 28, 2025.

  • Available to report in-person to the work location provided above.

  • 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA preferred.
