Description:

Nazareth Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a (Pool/per diem) Telephone Operator to join our team!

** flexibility to work e/o weekend and holiday

Telephone Operator

  • Operation of the Switchboard, which includes the use of Medical Console software.

  • Answers and directs all incoming calls from the public and staff for Nazareth Hospital

  • Answers and responds to Fire alarms, security alarms and codes in accordance with policy and procedure.

  • Maintains 24- hour contact with Security

  • Collects, provides and distributes the on-call information for Nazareth Hospital.

  • Performs all other duties deemed necessary for accurate and proper performance of the Telecommunications Department

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or equivalency (required)

  • Telephone Operator or Switchboard experience (preferred)

  • Customer Service experience (preferred)
