ENTRUST Solutions Group Utility Inspector in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

We have a current need for a Utility Inspector based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities:
Thoroughly document and report all accidents and incidents to the appropriate departments, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Monitor the use of equipment and tools, reporting any unsafe practices or conditions to prevent accidents.
Identify and rectify any deficiencies related to contractor and employee compliance, taking necessary actions to maintain high standards of safety and efficiency.
Provide clear instructions and supervision to personnel regarding safety and operational procedures, ensuring strict adherence to OSHA, DOT, PPE, and company policies.
Act as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing and resolving any concerns promptly and professionally.
Quality Control, spot inspection of work being performed by contractors, and company personnel ensuring compliance with PGW construction standards.
Please note: This position will be a 1 to 3 year project.
Requirements:
Knowledge of gas distribution, pipeline and/or facility code requirements and procedures (OSHA, 49 C.F.R. Part 192, regional codes, operation manuals, etc.)
Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the utility or pipeline industries or a related industry.
Ability to have a strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of workers and public
Skill to have a keen eye for detail in record observations, violations, and corrective actions taken during inspections
Ability to make informed decisions and prioritize tasks based on the severity of identified issue
