Field Technician Installation – Join Our Team!

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Field Technician Installer. This role involves a variety of tasks, including the delivery and installation of appliances, inventory management, and customer interaction. The ideal candidate will be able to handle appliances weighing up to 300 lbs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading trucks for daily deliveries and installing appliances following our company’s specifications.

  • Problem-solving to complete assigned installations.

  • Removing bulk materials from rental properties post move-out, including proper separation and disposal of items.

  • Keeping all equipment clean, orderly, and functional; ensuring all work aligns with applicable laws, regulations, and safety practices.

  • Updating and completing mobile work orders received from the maintenance center within the given timeframe.

    Requirements:

  • A High School diploma/GED is strongly preferred, or the equivalent of 5 years of relative Residential/Property Maintenance or related experience.

  • Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools.

  • Experience using mobile devices (e.g., Apple iPad) is preferred.

  • Experience with Field Service, CRM, and Yardi is desired.

  • A valid driver’s license.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.

  • Demonstrated understanding of occupational hazards and safety methods (OSHA) is necessary.

  • Candidates should be capable of multitasking.

  • The ability to use discretion and independent judgement is essential.

  • Attention to detail is crucial.

  • Adaptability and flexibility to a changing environment are key.

  • Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) is required.

  • Basic measurement and calculation skills are necessary.

  • Physical capability to maneuver appliances weighing up to 300 lbs.

  • Ability to lift/carry:

  • 100 pounds to waist height

  • 75 pounds to shoulder height

  • 25 pounds above the head

  • Capability to operate a mid-size box truck with lift gate and drive extended periods of time/distance within a specific geographical area.
