  • Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Global Solutioning and Pre-Sales Leader to join our team. This role is pivotal for driving innovative IT solutions in the insurance software industry focusing on Life and Pensions, General Insurance and Health Insurance. The ideal candidate will lead a team of domain experts, support sales efforts, and spearhead business and IT transformation initiatives.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the sales, partners ,delivery and product teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of client needs and architect comprehensive solutions that align with business objectives

  • Drive business and IT transformation initiatives to deliver innovative and effective IT solutions tailored to client requirements

  • Implement best practices and emerging technologies to enhance solution offerings and improve operational efficiency.

  • Provide expertise in Life and Pensions, General Insurance, and Health Insurance domains. Develop and present tailored software solutions for prospective clients

  • Deliver solutions that encompass reconciliation and billing processes, ensuring seamless customer communication and experience.

  • Collaborate with sales teams to create compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the value of our insurance software solutions

  • Lead and manage a global team of domain experts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Mentor and develop team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their role

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to gather comprehensive market feedback. Facilitate effective communication between market-facing teams and the product team.

  • Product Development Inputs:

  • Collaborate with the product development team to provide insights that address market gaps

  • Suggest innovative product features or enhancements based on market analysis

  • Ensure that product roadmaps are aligned with market demands and business objectives

  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred

  • Extensive experience in the insurance software industry with a strong focus on Life and Pensions, General Insurance, and Health Insurance domains

  • Proven track record of leading solutioning and pre-sales efforts on a global scale. Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team of domain experts

  • Strong understanding of business and IT transformation principles and practices

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

As part of the Oracle sales team you will direct and manage pre-sales resources throughout the sales cycle. Provides technical/functional leadership to the sales team in the development and implementation of customer applications and customer products. Participates in account planning and strategy development. May publishes technical information of specific applications and/or technical articles. Works with management to define new products. Serves as the company liaison on specific technical projects with customers.

US: Hiring Range: from $158,200 to $270,900 per annum. May be eligible for equity and compensation deferral. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 60/40 - 65/35.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
