* Contract position through the end of the year; contract can be extended; C2H is possible.
IT Systems Support Engineer :
Monitor the operations of servers, databases, web servers / application servers, and applications to ensure their optimal performance
Monitor performance capacity and make recommendations for improvements
Manage incidents and coordinate resolution efforts
Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Required Technical Skills and Experience :
Experience with system administration of Linux and Windows servers
Experience with Apache Tomcat web server and servlet container, with a general knowledge of Java (not developer level)
Experience with supporting Oracle database operations and Informatica ETL applications
Experience with OpenShift, a container application platform, for deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications
Experience supporting Axiom data management platform will be a plus
