The Global Infrastructure Network team is seeking a Senior Network and Compliance Infrastructure Engineer for our Platform Health team. In this role, you’ll work closely with our global partners, internal Security and Operations teams evaluating and driving improved network platform health. You should have a strong technical background, structured and organized approach, and be customer service oriented.

How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Demonstrates analytical thinking - recommends improvements and conducts experiments to prove/disprove them.

  • Communicates effectively with product and cross functional teams to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and managing a list of technical requirements based on industry trends, recent technologies, known defects, and issues.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate known vulnerabilities against internal products to ensure appropriate actions are taken for swift closure.

  • Perform vulnerability assessments and translate findings into actions that can be implemented.

  • Collaborate with leadership, project managers, risk, and information security teams to identify, develop, and prioritize vulnerability remediation and compliance processes for the network.

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in network security technologies and recommend relevant solutions.

  • Providing technical leadership, mentorship and organization for the team.

  • Maintaining relationships and alignment with technology peers, and hardware/software vendors.

  • Supporting other peer teams with projects, goals, and initiatives.

  • Documenting policies, standards, and procedures.

  • Documenting and addressing risks and issues.

Qualifications

  • Must have good knowledge on fundamental networking concepts and protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL, DNS, DHCP, basic routing/switching, load balancing (LTM/GTM), SOCKS, 802.1X, AD, authentication protocols such as LDAP, NTLM or Kerberos, etc.

  • Understanding of cryptography concepts, SSL certificates, SSL decryption/inspection, HSM/HSMaaS.

  • Understanding of network authentication protocols including Kerberos, NTLM, LDAP, Basic authentication.

  • Intermediate knowledge of server hardware platforms.

  • Experience with in-depth problem solving, analytical analysis, reporting and the ability to articulate and present to leaders and key partners.

  • Ability to lead, influence, and drive vendor direction for effective compliance solutions.

  • Experience working across multiple network hardware and software platforms such as Cisco, Arista, and F5.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience in Enterprise Networking technologies.

  • 8 plus years of experience engineering and supporting large scale multi-vendor enterprise networks.

  • Professional level certifications in networking or network security technologies is a plus (i.e. CCIE, CCNP, Security , CCSP, CISSP, or similar)

Qualifications

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually bonus benefits
