- Using tools:Safely operating a variety of hand and power tools, such as air hammers, cement mixers, power saws, and pressure washers
- Collaborating:Working with other tradespeople, such as engineers, electricians, and plumbers, to complete projects
- Considering weather:Monitoring how weather affects the concrete's set and finishability
- Applying treatments:Applying curing or surface treatments, such as hardening and sealing compounds, to waterproof or restore the concrete
- Maintaining:Installing, maintaining, and restoring masonry structures
