Job Summary
The Patient Care Technician performs duties related to patient care under the direct guidance of a Registered Nurse.
They are responsible for clerical duties as well.
Education and/or Experience
High school graduate or GED required.
Must be 16 or older.
Previous work in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
Certification/Licensure/Registrations
Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) registry preferred but not required.
BLS completed within 6 months of start date is required and must be maintained.
Certification in Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) within one year of employment is required. Certification requirements to be maintained while working in department.
Work Schedule
Varied Shifts; 48 hours every 2 weeks
6:00 am - 6:30 pm, 6:00 pm - 6:30 am
Every other weekend
Every other holiday
Occasional call time
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $17.50 - $23.00 per hour
