University of Pittsburgh Part-Time Instructor - Spanish Department in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

The Department of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Pittsburgh seeks a part-time instructor of Spanish language for fall semester 2024 to teach courses in Elementary Spanish, Intermediate Spanish, Spanish Conversation, and Advanced Spanish Grammar and Conversation. The hired instructor will teach one to three 3-credit classes that meet 150 minutes per week (with classes meeting two or three times per week). Instructors must have, at minimum, an MA or be ABD in Spanish or in a closely related field. They must also have native or near-native proficiency in Spanish, as well as experience teaching in a college or university setting. Familiarity with methodologies and online programs currently used in the program is preferred.
