Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join a great team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and clerical duties with a focus on data entry. This position requires a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and confidentiality in handling financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter financial data accurately into accounting software and databases.
Ensure all data is entered timely and conforms to company standards.
Maintain and update accounting records and files.
Verify accuracy of billing data and correct any errors.
Reconcile accounts and handle discrepancies.
Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
Organize and file financial documents for record-keeping and auditing purposes.
Assist in the preparation of reports, financial statements, and spreadsheets.
Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in accounting or finance is a plus.
Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk, Data Entry Clerk, or similar role.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
