Responsibilities
Operate and monitor rivet machines to produce components according to specifications.
Load programs into machines, set work offsets, and adjust tool heights.
Conduct regular quality checks using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal machine performance.
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production.
Manage inventory of rivets and other necessary materials, placing orders as required.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Collaborate with the production team to meet daily and weekly production targets.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years experience operating specialized rivet machines or similar precision machinery.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
Understanding of machine operations, tool setup, and precision measurement techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Must be coachable and take direction
