Job Description

• The following is a succinct job description for a CFC Attendant. The attendant will be responsible for overseeing the care of Jesse and Casey Hicks, two brothers who require special attention due to disabilities. A minimum requirement for the position is familiarity with caring for individuals with disabilities. The attendant must also be comfortable assisting the patients during bowel movements. The schedule for the position is Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Activities of daily living (eating, toileting, and grooming), activities related to living independently in the community, and health-related tasks (personal assistance services);
• Acquisition, maintenance, and enhancement of skills necessary for the individuals to care for themselves and to live independently in the community (Habilitation);
• Providing a backup system or ways to ensure continuity of services and supports (emergency response services); and
• Training people on how to select, manage, and dismiss their attendants (support management).
