JPMorgan Chase Corporate Planning & Analytics Allocations - Associate in Plano, Texas

Join the Corporate Allocations Planning and Analysis Allocation team that provides analytics, executive level reporting, financial and variance analysis for Corporate Sector Expense Allocations.

As an Associate in the Corporate Allocations Planning and Analysis team, you will be responsible for automating overall process activities, developing analytical capabilities, supporting ad-hoc initiatives, and building senior management presentations for overall corporate expense base. Responsibilities will also include monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reporting and analysis in collaboration with Corporate Sector Finance/CFO teams. You will also drive value-added change by simplifying processes, implementing automation, and enhancing analytical support to the lines of business. The support will be tailored to senior leaders throughout the firm; therefore, you must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment with evolving priorities. Effective communication and strong collaboration with and beyond the team are also desirable.

Job responsibilities:

  • Contribute directly and/or collaborate on several high-exposure initiatives through the simplification of key processes, enhancement of analytics & reporting through automated solutions.

  • Serve as a liaison between Global Finance and Business Management groups and other support teams in order to provide impactful reporting and insightful analytics.

  • Provide financial analysis services and produce supporting materials for key internal clients including senior management; participate in ad-hoc projects and requests as needed.

  • Collaborate with business partners across Corporate Sector P&A, Lines of Businesses and the organization to ensure the timely, accurate and effective delivery of recurring and ad-hoc initiatives integral in the firm financial reporting.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting

  • 4+ years of relevant experience, in financial services or Technical Support/Analysis to a Financial Planning and Analysis role in a large organization

  • Must have hands on experience with Business Intelligence and workflow tools (Alteryx, Tableau), Advanced Excel skill set, Power Point

  • Alteryx (Advanced), Tableau (Mid to Advance)

  • Sound judgment, professional maturity and personal integrity, strong work ethic, proactive and results-oriented, and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Comfortable with frequently changing priorities

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to work and collaborate with internal and external partners.

  • Proactive, professional, and a team player
