Partnering with product, technology, branch and central operations, the finance team is responsible for assessing competitive landscape, validating revenue and risk assumptions and optimizing expense levers to deliver robust forward looking monthly forecasts and long term strategic plans We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to lead and improve the Company’s budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis capabilities. This position will play a key role in delivering on FP&A’s mission outlined above and support the executive management team’s short and long-term objectives. This position would be onsite in our new Plano, TX location. Hybrid consideration will be given depending on experience and tenure. Lead corporate budgeting and periodic forecasting for corporate, functions as well as major initiatives and projects. Evaluate capital and other investments (eg headcount) through key performance measures such as EBITDA, ROIC and Operating leverage to support business justification. Track, report and analyze ongoing performance measures through life of investments. Assist in contract approval process and financial vendor oversight including financial and risk analysis of new and key vendors. Conduct competitive financial and operating analysis across market peers and share with key partners and during management reviews. Continue ongoing development of dynamic financial models and analyses to support growth of the business, changes in key assumptions and drivers and incorporation of critical initiatives. Develop, implement, and deliver standardized reports, dashboards, executive-level summaries and presentations to effectively communicate financial performance, risks and opportunities to operational and executive leadership and board of directors. Partner with non-finance managers to develop and/or improve data and information transformation processes and the understanding of financial requirements. Automate reporting, modeling and forecasting processes to improve turnaround times and enhance analytical and decision support insights/tools. Partner with risk and operations to learn and share key insights for revenue optimization and operating efficiency opportunities. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economic or related field (MBA a plus) Minimum 5 years of experience in FP&A in a Financial Analyst role, experience in consumer finance industry a plus Forward looking attitude with strong analytical approach and experience driving business & operational improvement, ability to work independently, think objectively, and interpret relevant themes from quantitative and qualitative data. Hands-on, creative approach to financial modeling and building business decision support tools. Ability and confidence to work cross functionally, understand and communicate complex concepts, bring business insights, motivate change, and produce tangible results. Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with SQL, PowerBI, Hyperion/Oracle/Essbase/PBCS. Effective presentation skills in a variety of presentation settings including one-on-one, small, and large groups Familiarity with statistical modeling and forecasting, portfolio P&L simulation, profitability tracking and marginal expansion strategies. Strong communication and presentation skills (in one on one or large groups), leadership skills, a high level of initiative, intellectual curiosity and creativity. Expertise to develop accounting and management statements with opportunities to improve profitability and capital allocation levers (experience in consumer lending facets a plus). Strong problem solving & decision quality as evidenced by ability to apply rigorous logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions.
